Founder, Texas Tally Bookkeeping
Finance & Canfield Business Honors
UT Austin McCombs School of Business
I'm a finance student at UT Austin's McCombs School of Business in the Canfield Business Honors Program, McCombs' selective honors business program. I started Texas Tally to give Austin's local and family-run businesses careful, affordable books, so owners can spend their time on customers, not spreadsheets.
I've spent my summers digging into company financials. Now I want to bring that same care to the local businesses that make Austin, Austin.
No. I'm a bookkeeper, not a CPA. I don't prepare tax returns, give tax or legal advice, or provide audits, reviews, compilations, or any other attest services. I keep your books accurate and organized, so your CPA or tax preparer can file faster, and often for less.

Yes. It's required for monthly clients. Mixing personal and business money makes books expensive to keep and risky at tax time. If you don't have one yet, I'll help you set it up as part of onboarding.
On the Growing plan I track every payment to contractors and helpers, collect their W-9s, and have your 1099 totals ready in January.
I'll keep your books in QuickBooks Online, or set you up in an organized Google Sheets system if you're just starting out. Already using other software? Just ask.
I only use view-only or bookkeeper-level access, never your login passwords, and I never move money for you.
Yes. Monthly plans are month to month after any promotional period.
